The Journey
Posted by Kevin Hicks on 8th February 2011

Having just finalised the script, we are about to embark on another Co-production between The History Squad and Blue Hippo Media to produce a film called “The Journey”.  The Journey is a 50 minute film for use in the educational arena, which will promote themes around the Holocaust. With historical accuracy we will be watching the lives of an ordinary German Jewish family unfold, causing us to identify and empathise with the characters. The film will show how a civilized society can be turned on its head and then on itself, by negatively focussing on a minority.  A package of facts, figures and teachers notes etc. will accompany the film.  We will officially launch the project in March with an aim to raise the funds needed.  If you would like to register an early interest in the project, or would simply like more information, please contact us.
