History Squad is a professional, live interpretation company that facilitates presentations and workshops designed to show that history is not boring. With over 14 years’ experience of working with schools, our presentations combine vivid descriptions with authentic detail and have been developed following in-depth research.
We offer a series of exciting, cross-curriculum projects of benefit to History, RE, English, Social Studies and Drama.

One of the most exciting facets of our schools business is how successful History Squad has been in encouraging youngsters to put pen to paper to express what they have seen and experienced.
Our hands-on approach really does encourage children to look further into history. Likened to a roving museum, we bring into the classroom many artefacts, both original and reproduction, for the children to handle and use as part of the workshops.
Choose from solo acts for assemblies to up to four actors for a complete history experience.
Some of our regular clients include; English Heritage Education, Heritage Education Trust, Wellington School, Millfield Prep, Monkton Combe, Badminton School, Queen Elizabeth Grammar, Perryfield School, Friary School to name but a few.
Please Note: Some of our movies require QuickTime Player to be installed in order to view them. CLICK HERE to download the latest version of QuickTime Player.
